Calls

Some umpiring signals are accompanied by calls, others are not. Umpires make the following calls - Play; No Ball; Wide ball; Dead ball; Short run; Over and Time. They do not make calls to accompany the signals for Out; Byes; Leg byes; Penalty runs; Boundary 4s or Boundary 6s; New ball; Revoking a decision; Last hour; Free hit; Powerplay or when requesting a TV replay.
