Follow through

1 That part of a batting stroke, after striking or attempting to strike the ball, that continues with either an upward or lateral swing of the bat.

2 The distance that the bowler runs, as part of his bowling technique, after having delivered the ball. The follow through for a fast bowler is nearly always greater than that for a slow bowler.
