International Institute of Cricket Umpiring & Scoring
Pavilion, clubhouse
Essentially the building where cricketers change, eat, store equipment and generally manage
their club`s affairs. The facilities in these pavilions vary dramatically depending on
the affluence of the particular club. From the 5 star luxury of most Test match venues and County headquarters, through to the simple wooden buildings of some village teams, pavilions are imbued with the familiar cricket smells of liniment and linseed oil and will often proudly exhibit the club's history written in old team photographs, scorecards, trophies, honours boards and other memorabilia.
