First Scoring course presentation.

Mike Perry and Danny Hart, received their IICUS Beginner's Scoring course certificates from the Chairman of Firwood Bootle Cricket Club, Ray Leary, looking on is Tom Law, the Cricket Secretary. The other 13 course participants will receive their certificates when they have scored in a match for the club.

Ray Leary commented that "he had attending one of the course sessions and was impressed by the tutors and particularly their efforts to make sure that the learners enjoyed themselves as well as learning how to score. The club now has 15 more scorers we didn't have before."

A number of clubs have shown an interest in the course format and we will be holding further courses during the school holidays around Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
