Nigel Plews

Nigel Plews gave an interview to IICUS Director of Education, Denis Burns, this week from his home in Nottingham.

Nigel has had a distinguished career in recreational, county, and test umpiring and he is a source of rich advice for all umpires. Nigel has given permission for the video material to be used in Unit 2 of the Institute's course.
As well as advice and controversial comments on developments in international cricket umpiring, course candidates will be entertained and informed by Nigel's humour, anecdotes, and no-nonsense, common sense approach to the Laws and field craft.


Despite his current illness Nigel was willing to commit his thoughts to a 2 hour video interview.
